Our name may sound odd, but it is actually inspired by two great pioneers in the early years learning sector – Robert Owen and Friedrich Froebel.
Robert Owen’s main message came from his inner belief that every child should be valued and cherished the same. To this day, his name is fondly remembered as pioneering the early years school movement.
Friedrich Froebel was also a pioneering pedagogue and created the world’s first kindergarten. He believed that it should be a place where children could develop and grow at their own pace.
