As a nursery owner along with his business partner Paul, they are ideally placed as the driving force behind Owen Froebel, recognising that there was a large gap in the market where an informed and insightful approach was needed.

About Paul

Paul has worked in M&A for as long as Luke, going into business together in 2010 and building a large brokerage business as well as embarking on the purchase of several nurseries.

In addition to his skills in ownership, Paul is the IT genius part of the partnership who loves creating spreadsheets, graphics and anything that requires a lot of coding, whilst also confusing everyone else on the team.

Why are we called Owen Froebel?

Our name may sound odd, but it is actually inspired by two great pioneers in the early years learning sector – Robert Owen and Friedrich Froebel.

OWEN

Robert Owen’s main message came from his inner belief that every child should be valued and cherished the same. To this day, his name is fondly remembered as pioneering the early years school movement.

FROEBEL

Friedrich Froebel was also a pioneering pedagogue and created the world’s first kindergarten. He believed that it should be a place where children could develop and grow at their own pace.
